Distributed Simulation Group
Terri Walker-Spoonhour is an Alion senior vice president and leader of the Distributed Simulation Group (DSG), where she is responsible for a $250M portfolio of programs and capabilities delivering agile engineering, sustainability, logistics, modeling, simulation, training, analysis, aviation and weapon systems, and IT solutions.
With more than 550 employees, Terri’s teams provide engineering and technical expertise, product development, program management, and technical support services to a customer base that includes the U.S. Department of Defense, government agencies, and commercial entities. She delivers solutions that include immersive training programs, exercise and experimentation support, decision support, systems engineering, reverse engineering and obsolescence management, product development, rapid prototyping and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Alion, Terri worked for QinetiQ North America, where she was director of Operations in Orlando, Florida, focused on delivering simulation and training solutions. Prior to her engagement at QNA, she worked for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) responsible for their modeling and simulation division and aerospace C4I solutions, serving both domestic and international defense customers and NATO. During her 11-year tenure, she held a number of leadership roles, rising to the position of senior vice president for Operations within that company’s Defense Solutions Group. Earlier in her career, Terri held program and project management positions with companies focused on image generation as well as M&S training services and products, including Quantum3D and Nations, a BTG Company. Terri joined Alion in her current position in March 2012.
