Sid Fuchs is the Chief Operating Officer of Alion Science and Technology, a leading $1B+ National Security company with over 4,000 employees worldwide that provides innovative engineering, cybersecurity, and product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Homeland Security and Federal agencies. He is responsible for leading all business and program operations of the company including its long-term strategy for sustained profitable growth. An accomplished and recognized thought leader, business executive, and National Security authority, Fuchs has a 30-year track record of leading and building engineering and technology companies and organizations that deliver results. He assumed his current role in 2019.

Prior to Alion, he was the president, CEO, and a director of MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB) from 2011 to 2019. Through a combination of significant organic growth and strategic acquisitions, Fuchs led the debt-free transformation of MacB from a once predominantly US Air Force SETA contractor to a double-digit growth NextGen engineering solutions, technology, and services company with over 1,500 employees worldwide serving Defense, Intelligence, Homeland Security, and Federal agencies. In August 2018, MacB was acquired by Veritas Capital, a leading New York based private equity firm with over $10B in assets under management, and merged with Alion Science and Technology, a Veritas Capital portfolio company.
