SYSTEMS ENGINEERING & INTEGRATION
As a core aspect of our business, Alion has performed studies and developed solutions to solve some of the most difficult challenges for DoD research and operational commands.
SYSTEMS FOR CHANGING REQUIREMENTS
Today’s warfighters must incorporate fast-moving technological advancements into existing military systems to keep up with the increased tempo of modern military operations. Our emerging technology and process solutions help national defense and security customers meet their mission requirements — even as they change — through expert analysis, improvements, and integration.
We use proven systems analysis techniques to illuminate the best approach and realize the way forward.
OUR SYSTEMS ANALYSIS SOLUTIONS
Our SMEs help you evaluate current requirements, enhance requirements, and/or develop new requirements, including those related to survivability, vulnerability, and RMQSI.
Once we’ve agreed on the best path forward, our engineers conduct testing and evaluation of prototype designs and integrations to assess viability and confirm operational readiness.
SYSTEM DESIGN & PROTOTYPING
We analyze, design, and develop the hardware and/or software prototypes of systems and subsystems, in line with each client’s specific requirements and the results of our research and testing.
SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT & INTEGRATION
Alion’s engineers integrate subsystems, components, and subassemblies, including firmware, hardware, software, and inter-component or inter-system communications.
PROGRAM & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Drawing on the deep operational experience of our Program and Project Managers, Alion produces solutions that solve complicate operational challenges in an effective, efficient and secure manner.
Alion has performed systems analysis and requirements support for the Joint Unmanned Mission Integration (JUMI) and Airspace Reporting and Exchange System (ARES) technology improvements with AF A2I; Limited Test Experiments (LTEs) in collaboration with AFRL/RIS, with great success; and support of several AF TENCAP QRC missions.
